Phunawa Resort Phuket Karon Beach

The one-bedroom apartment was spacious and clean, with a nice view of the pool area that was still open .

The breakfast choices lacked variety, and I found the food quality wanting-soggy pastries and poor coffee detracted from the experience. The rooftop bar had inconsistent hours, and several areas of the hotel felt neglected, from the decor in the restaurant to the outdated furniture on the balcony.

Family getaway with amazing staff

The rooftop bar was a gem, happy hours with buy one get one free cocktails made for some lovely evenings. I also loved the spacious pool area that was perfect for kids, they had a blast while I just relaxed by the sun.

It wasn't cheap but still worth it for the experience.

Breakfast and room rate!

At day of arrival nobody helped me...to get a car park or instruct me to a car park...nobody was there, no welcome! The receptionist told us: On weekend are not so many staff here..:-( It follows a very impersonal stay! At date of departure they told us we still have to pay....although we paid already to agency. No idea about payment transaction/handling...it doesn´t made look good! We were very disappointed, because it was our first trip to Phuket.

great resort with minor improvements needed

The pool area was spacious. The staff members were attentive , accommodating an early check-in that was greatly appreciated after our long travel. Daily complimentary coffee, tea, and water added a lovely touch to our stay, along with a nice garden view that enhanced the overall experience.

The breakfast options could use a bit more variety.

The breakfast buffet is very nice.

They have very hard beds. If you like to sleep on a concrete slab, then stay here.

An out of the way location within walking distance to the beach. Also easy to access city and sites by taxi. Very good value for the room.

The staff were friendly as, and the room was spacious and comfy. Just wish the food had more variety!

Very nice hotel. I got a big suit with 2 rooms with king beds and a meeting room. It's really like home. The staff are very friendly.

Only vocation is not very close to the beach. You may need walk ten minutes.

Apartment with two bedrooms was ok. 2 small bathrooms and big balcony was very nice too.

Hotel was located next to the water treatment plant so there were lot of flies and bad smell around. Pool area was very dangerous for little kids and pool was little dirty.

Utilize the shuttle service for easy travel to Karon and nearby attractions.

I found it a little awkward for stairs in upper rooms. I liked the quiet and the pool area aswell as sun lounge . Staff we helpful ,kind,friendly. A quiet location not too far from beach.or shops but up a small hill.

Breakfast was good, but food menu for the room was limited and sometimes undercooked or cold when it arrived. This hotel is new but beds are very firm and some rooms are a bit small for larger western people. One shower door opened inwards making it difficult to get in and out .

We spent 6 nights here as a family, and it was a pretty decent getaway. The location was tucked away, giving us a peaceful vibe, yet it was just a short stroll to the beach where we could enjoy pristine sand and lovely waves. The kids loved the big pool, and having a small supermarket nearby was super handy for snacks. One highlight of our stay was the daily breakfast. while it wasn’t huge, it had the essentials like fresh fruit and cooked eggs that satisfied everyone’s morning cravings. The two-bedroom junior suite was spacious, but it was a bit bare, lacking kitchen utensils which made self-catering tricky. it was a solid experience despite a few hiccups with our amenities.
